Any successful wrestling coach will be the first to admit it takes a team effort to find success in an individual sport. And any successful wrestling program relies on each other, parents, volunteers and support staff to achieve success.

A key member of that support staff is the wrestling manager.

“Managers do a lot of things behind the scenes that at times may go unnoticed by the public or a lot of people,” says Keith Donnelly, an assistant coach at Iowa’s Independence High School.
